To the “I Want To Be Me” Family,
It is with great excitement that we write you today with the latest news about our little gem of a film, “I Want To Be Me.”
Since we all gathered in Los Angeles and you shared your dreams of the future, “I Want To Be Me” has gone on to inspire audiences around the world to live out their dreams and to be comfortable with who they are, here, in the moment.
We are proud to announce that we are working with the YOU EFFECT – an online media space, where our youth ambassador, Kelly Lovell, is bringing together the youth leaders of today to talk about what is important to them and what they can do to make an impact.
We indentified with their statement that, “Youth are the key stakeholders in a variety of industries, ranging from consumer markets to media. Despite our influence, we lack a strong voice in society. It is our turn to be heard, but it is our responsibility to make ourselves recognizable.”
Touring our short film to schools and sharing our message to audiences around the world showed us that our simple message is making a difference. We are reaching out to more schools, organizations and groups, and we now WANT TO BE WE!
YOU EFFECT is launching with our signature film and is kicking off their site that will generate conversations about youth centric opinions and perspectives. Our mission is to amplify the voices of the future and empower them to be heard and we believe that YOU EFFECT has the power to do just that.
